Amy, Definitely lots of neat things in that shop!
Amy, very interesting shop the Dragonfly Import Co. on the Crystal Coast. I read the "So here is the story...". Once I started I couldn't stop...very cool.
Amy - We'll have to check it out next time we zip into town. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
Bliz - Thanks for shopping with me :-) Darn it, tho'.... Now I have to go back (woohoo) and exchange my new top (It's too big thanks to Taking it off in the Rain). A great excuse to shop a little more!
Nick - I had been in the shop dozens of times, but when I told them I was writing a blog post about the wonderful shop, they pointed me to "The Story".... I love it!
Nevin - Your girls would love this shop.... so many cool treasures inside. Will definitely call you today (been so busy) about the zoo and our trip to your area!
Dragonfly Import Co. looks like a very cool store Amy.............I love that they turned you on to "The Story" when you told them you were writing a blog about the store.
Sounds like a great place to shop to the not so usual....enjoy the weekend !
Good morning Amy,
It sure seems you have a knack for ferreting out these great shops! Love the write up and their "story" is fascinating!! Looks like a fun place to shop.
Roger - I just wish I could stop in more often! I love this store, you never know what you will find!
Sally & David - It is a unique & fabulous shop! Wishing you a wonderful weekend too!
Dorie - I am a total sucker for Dragonfly Import Co. and other great, unique shops. Isn't the story great?
Looks like a fun place!
Amy, looks like you could get lost in the Dragonfly Import Company never to be found again. LOL Now we all know where to find you.
Looks like they offer some interesting and nice things for sale. Unfortunately, they don't have an online version of the store and the nearest store to me is about a 4.5 hour drive away. Next time we visit Key West, I hope to remember to stop in.
There is some value there....My son just came back from the Amazon River and trading with villages is fascinating. People with nothing but time on their hands really make some nice stuff...He brought back goodies and wished he would have brought more...Yes to this shop and its unique offerings....good post and thank you
What an awesome shop! We have a place like that locally called Alternatives Global Market Place. It is really neat because the owner travels to small countries to order directly from the crafts people and most everything is handmade and fair-trade! So much more interesting than your run of the mill big box stores for home decor.
Amy, what a fascinating story. I love these types of shops. They provide a good product and help those who are really in need.
The Dragonfly Import Co sounds like my kind of store, and you did manage to capture all the colorful merchandise. Great job.
On my list of things to do on my next trip to North Carolina!
Good morning Amy. Boy what a great shop and even better story. You are fortunate to be able to enjoy and help.
Amy- Looks like a great place! I love the colors and if my partner came there I amwilling to bet she would fillup her car...
Great localism post Amy! Hope you have a great summer.
What a fun store in which to browse. Dragonfly Import Company might be on the Crystal Coast of NC, but it would be equally at home in one of our neighborhoods of San Francisco.
