Lately, the news for the housing market has been filled with doom and gloom. Its enough to make you not want to get out of bed....  I’m here to tell you that it is NOT as gloomy as it is being portrayed!  Funny how sometimes if you know more of the story, the news stories mean a little less. 

Here’s what some highly successful real estate experts have said about the current housing market:

If you don't get a serious bargain, walk away. There are other houses out there you can make an offer on. You get a steal, you got a good buy. You don't get a steal, you wait until you do.”

My team works with excellent mortgage experts. They have all said that the interest rates right now are simply incredible.

RATES
Today you can get a 30 yr fixed rate for under 6%!  For example on a $225,000.00 purchase with as little as 5% down you could qualify and your payment would be $1151.00 plus taxes and insurance.

The rates are the lowest that we have seen in 2 years. This rate is valid for people with good credit (640 or better/ depending on individual credit history, and is based on loan amount).

With all that GOOD news, its surprising that we aren't hearing THAT on the news.  Its up to us to change the perception... So, are you ready to turn GLOOM into GOOD?

Craig, welcome to AR!  I see this is your first post; I'm just coming up on my one year anniversary with AR.  I have learned so much and it has been an incredible growning experience. 

I could not agree with your post more!  We really did not have a bubble to burst here in the Houston area but my clients don't know that from listening to the national news they think the sky is falling.  You are right it is up to us to educate them.
