Suncoast Co-op says: Why would you want to buy locally grown? Supporting your local growers will reduce the time and distance from grower to market. Reducing the need for fossil fuels and providing fresher produce. Currently, your local grocery store produce has to travel an average of 1500 miles before it reaches your store.
