The Shores of Long Bayou is one of the best kept secrets for waterfront condos in Seminole, FL.
Its scenic setting is so peaceful, lush and green, a true oasis tucked away along the “Long Bayou” waterway. People drive on Seminole Blvd, with all the shopping, restaurants and activities it has to offer, and wonder “There are waterfront condos supposed to be here?”! Then they take a turn East on a little street, about half a mile North of Bay Pines Blvd., called 66th Ave, and follow it into a peaceful residential area. After a couple hundred yards, they pull through the gate for “Long Bayou”, a gated, deed restricted complex situated on 77 acres of waterfront property, with lakes and ponds, and little parks and nature preserves.
Long Bayou features 1.7 miles of nature trails to enjoy, 2 clubhouses, two pools and spas, tennis courts, shuffle board, water access and a community dock. The common areas are lovingly maintained and invite residents to sit and relax, to watch some of the most amazing birds and other wildlife that make their home here. I recently myself had a magical bird encounter here and dedicated a blog post to it.
The Shores of Long Bayou is a part of “Long Bayou”, and consists of 22 separate buildings, each is a separate condo Association, with its own set of deed restrictions and escrow reserves.
One of my favorite areas within The Shores of Long Bayou waterfront condos in Seminole, FL are the newer 4 to 5 story buildings on Shoreline Drive. They were built from 2001-2004 and have secured elevator access, some units have under building deeded garages, or covered parking.
The condos have high ceilings, wide open floorplans with large balconies, which are accessible from the living and master bedroom. The buildings are nestled along Long Bayou and the ponds and lakes at Shores of Long Bayou, offering stunning waterviews from every room. One of the great features that residents enjoy is the friendly, open atmosphere, all ages are welcome at The Shores of Long Bayou, and it is pet-friendly up to 25 lbs!
