I have to admit that I really have missed everyone. The HUD work has kept us busy. We are coing up for air as things have slowed down and I can hope to put attention on other matters. Belinda, how sweet of you to stop by. This was the week that I had an intention to get back in the swing of things and it was slipping away. Between the REO work and many doctor appointments and tests, we made a choice to try hard to have personal time for ourselves. We unpacked the rest of the boxes from our move last May. We got rid of things and bought the small things that we needed to make this house ours. Our courtyard is a joy now and we enjoy sitting out there with the birds and our Great Trees (2 huge Sequoia Redwood trees, a very large Black Oak and a huge Incense Cedar. The Hummies visit regularly although are still nervous with us around. We had David's Photographer Group over for a small "get together" and that was so fun. Life is short and if you keep putting things off, we will miss golden opportunities for those things in life that make the rhythm of balance an joy occur. So glad you stopped by sweet girl. Made my day! Thank you.

Hello John, always a pleasure to see and hear from you and Debbie. I so enjoy taking a peak and seeing what the two sweetest people on earth are doing. I see that business is good and that you are very busy. We all like that and so I know you are doing so with joy and happiness. Give Debbie my best. Charlie, thanks so much for stopping by to say "hello". That means a lot from a good friend. We have been around a long time, have we not? Thanks for visiting the art site. It will hopefully really be a good opportunity for David to market his work. I am more of a "Hallmark" kind of girl but have much fun doing the work. I know how many people love trains and some of the other things I photography so why not. I am still trying to figure things out.....Print being a huge departure from digital. Hello Myrl, I thought that you would enjoy the trains. I have a funny story to share. My health is still not the best and to go to Railroad Days with the crowds of people just would not be an option for me and so we went up on the Friday before the opening event on Friday evening. Southern Pacific employees and volunteers were very busy getting ready for the event. We have a good friend that was working that day. The Union Pacific yard is restricted and two signs ssy so at the entrance. We had on previous trips to Dunsmuir entered the yard and taken photos of the trains still there after Railroad Days. We did so again. I told David to just know that we would be invisible. We parked at the far end and I got out and walked the entire line taking my photos. David was busy talking with one of the volunteers. I must have photographed for almost an hour. I was at the limit of my physical ability and finally knew that I needed to find some place to sit down and that I had accomplished my goal. Upon that thought a man began to walk towards me. He asked me what I was doing and I told him photographing the trains. He said very nicely that I was not allowed in the area and that I must leave. I told him that I had been photographing the trains for an hour or so and had he not seen me. He said no that he had not seen me and that he had been working and watching for people like me. I guess I must have been invisible.

Hello William, so nice to have you stop by. Always a treat! David has bought me (sweet surprise) a set of lens for the macro work I desire to do. He has the Horseman to play with and now he has bought me these new macro lens. They are harder to work with in some respects but here is my first effort. We had our Photographer friends over the other night and in my conversations it sounds like we all go through similar phases of our work and development.
