Seattle waterfront homesWaterfront home sales in the Seattle area had a strong month in May, with 72 King County waterfront homes being sold.  Compared to the same month in 2011, sales were up 47 percent.  49 waterfront homes were sold last May.

In Seattle, waterfront sales increased 21 percent with a smaller, yet significant rise from 14 sales in May of 2011 to 17 sales this year.  A strong contingent of waterfront condos bolstered the sold listings this May, while Seattle waterfront housesmade up around 40% of those sales.
