Coming up July 7, 2012 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM is BATH'STILLE DAY at Costa Mesa Bark Park. Just when you thought Soap Operas were a thing of the past, along comes the Costa Mesa Bark Park's annual "sudser" the BATH'STILLE DAY DOG WASH. Once again this year, the Cheer and Football squads from Costa Mesa High School will be on hand to wash community canines -- and lend support to the dog park. Dogs of all sizes and breeds can get a wash and towel dry for the rock bottom price of $20. Also included in the festivities are a Vendor Fair, Raffle, BB-Q and a rare opportunity to take the Canine Good Citizen Test in a public setting. Adoption and Rescue organizations will be on hand if you are looking for a new companion and German Shepherd Rescue will be implanting microchips for the phenomenal price of $25. Our resident artist will paint your dog's portrait on our mural for $25.

June 24, 2012 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm is Pups N Pinot. An afternoon of wine and food tasting, live entertainment, silent & live auction, “Pooch Pageant” at the Newland House. Raising money for A Leg Up Rescue and Waggin’ Trails - rescuing dogs (and other animals) from certain death in our shelters or bad living situations ensuring they get placed in a forever home. $35 pre-sale, $40 at the door.
