Analytics and Your Web Site

If you're not using Google analytics you are walking blind! If you're putting the time and effort in building your internet brand the least you can do for yourself is know what's working for you. Nice post!

Erv, I get a lot of folks from other Countries visiting by blog. Right now Canada at the top followed by the United Kingdom. Last week China was in the lead of visiters to my blog.

Erv, I also find some of the information that I get from Google Analytics fascinating and helpful in deciding what my next posts should be.

Call me cynical, but those visitors were probably spammers, Erv!   (PS I loved your comment on my post!)

I have to admit that I do get international clients from my blogs. NOT all international lookers are spammers, thank heaven!!!! (We have plenty of home grown ones as well).

           I will have to brush up on google analytics I do think that many are spammers but many are not I sell to many cultures and I just learning about their way of life! I hope you are having a great week!

I actually get web hits and contacts from out of country military that are preparing to relocate to the Albuquerque area with the Base here.  Try answering the phone at 3am my time to make a deal work. 

 

Erv, we definitely get hits from people out of the country - we have both military bases and we are in Florida!

Erv, it is always interesting to see who has found our web site, and wonder if they are really looking for a home!

I need to check the Google analytics on my web site. I have just thought of it as a landing page for people who want information on the local area. Thanks for the advice Erv!

Hi Erv, True! Google Analytics does provide some pretty neat information about one's website. Although, you might want to check StatCounter, its realiable too and gives you additional stat analytics. Have a great day! :)
