Sometimes I dream in black and white other times it is in vivid color. I know one thing, lately Ihave been dreaming that I was still a little boy and was fishing with my father and grandfather.  One of my grandfather's favorite fishing spots was Panguitch Lake.  Panguitch Lake is one of the more popular location for fishing in this part of Southern Utah.  While my grandfather was alive it was still possible to go fishing there and be almost alone on the lake.  That doesn't happen very often, if ever anymore.  Things change and time and people pass on, but it is still nice to dream!

Panguitch Lake

When I was a kid many of these cabins weren't there.  Now there are some truly gorgeous cabins around the lake.

Darcy and Tony,

What great memories you have of your grandfather and Panguitch Lake.  Sometimes, you can back and sometimes you just can't.  I remember how much Ron and i loved Lake Como in the Northern part of Italy, when we flew over it several years later, it was so built up that we did not want to return...we left our memories intact that way.  Have a great week. Bob, Thank you, that is a really nice compliment!

Alexandra, That is very true, sometimes we need to do what we have to in order to preserve good memories.

Rob, I liked being with my dad and my grandfather much more than I ever liked fishing.  I haven't been fishing in years, maybe it's time to get back into it.

Roy, The feeling is mutual!
