It all comes down to this...throw in a sandwich and something tasty to drink and I don't care who you are...this is it
Wow this is beautiful...reminds me of a time my hubby and I went kayaking and would watch a friend on shore throw a stick to his dogs..I was of course worried it was too far out for the dogs, etc :-0
Howdy and morning Toni
Toni my friend, I just stop back by to leave you a Congrats on this mighty fine blog post being Featured!!!
Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
Jeanne & Ralph - it was a really warm day. Today we have Tropical Storm Debbie dumping tons of rain on us.
Dale - It was fun watching them. A few minutes later, two more dogs joined them.
John - It's Tropical Storm Debbie for us folks. Thank you for the congrats!
JoAnn - I just put a link in the post that gives a good explanation of Indian Mounds.
Morgan - It sure is! Have a good day in NYC.
Richie - there are picnic shelters all over this park and he view is incredible.
Kristin - we tend to do that, don't we :)
Dale - thank you!
Good Morning Toni, Love it when dogs can get wet and go for a spring. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Thanks for sharing your photographs. Life is good!
Have an outstanding week.
Toni,
That photo of the dogs in the water makes me wish Ode to Joy was playing in the background!
Isn't life great - it's a dog's life!
Toni - Indeed, Phillipe Park looks like a great place to spend the afternoon! Love to see dogs taking advantage of the ability to go for a nice swim. Congratulations on the feature!
Jeff
Toni, if I ever have a client with a dog for New Port Richey area, there is no doubt in my mind whom to call to give a referral to. You seem to have an unlimited knowledge of things to do with your dog!!!
Toni,
I love seeing dogs at play, and I love your picture of it. Philipe Park looks like a wonderful place to explore and enjoy the day with the family...Love your new wallpaper, I remember this post of our resident butterfly whishperer (YOU). I found one of these in Virginia and he/she is on our Speechless Sunday post today...A
Will - thanks, I do too.
Roy - that's true even though today we are drowning in rain!
Ode to Joy would be just perfect, Patricia. I don't know why I didn't switch to video and take them playing.
Jeff- they always look so happy and joyful.
Thanks, Tanja. It's because I love to see them have fun.
Alexandra - your butterfly is wonderful. I'm glad you had time to take the picture.
LOL! I'm sure those dogs were just so happy to cool off! I hope there was someone there to play stick with them. They look like they are having a ball!
Hi toni,
Better stay inside today and tomorrow.
It's quite wet outside. You are also under a tornado watch.
I hope all is well in New Port Richey.
best, Clint mcKie
Toni: Your photos make the park come alive...congrats girl on the well deserved feature today!
I love public parks, and so many of them have ties to history! BTW I hear from my Florida relatives that you guys are getting rain like unto needing an ark pretty soon! Sounds like the drought is well and truly over at last.
Toni, those three doggies definitely looked like they were waiting for a stick to be thrown their way...how cute! :)
Leilani
Toni,
I need to throw Waffles in the water with those dogs... but she is the only lab I know that doesn't like water! Looks like a great park!
Have a good one
Rob
Jennifer - one of their owners had several sticks he was tossing in. They were having fun.
Clint - It was one heck of a day yesterday. The golf course I live on looks like a lake today. Our pond is 3 times bigger than normal. The river behind the golf course over-flowed also.
Dianne - definitely needed the arc yesterday. It just never stopped raining-pouring-windy all day.
Leilani - they are cute! Thanks.
Waffles doesn't like water???? Maybe when she gets a little older, Rob.
I love that park and love taking long walks there, along the shoreline!
Me too, Barbara Jo. Such a pretty place.
