Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear TX focus neighborhood is located in far west and slightly west of Katy TX and Cinco Ranch. Cross Creek is a Master Planned Community being developed by Johnson Development Corporation and which has been placing families in major developments for over 30 years. The development encompasses over 3,200 acres and is locaterd in Fort Bend county. This is my third blog of my series of neighborhoods in the Katy and surrounding areas.

Builders in Cross Creek include Ashton Woods, Kickerillo, Newmark, Perry, Plantation, Trendmaker and Village builders.  There are several new homes available for sale at given point in time. Cross Creek has over 700 homes occupied by home owners with another 7,000 homes becoming available over the next 10 years.

Cross Creek Ranch was in the top 20 best-selling Master Planned Communities’ in the United States during 2011. The Greater Houston Builders Association has recognized Cross Creek Ranch as the 2012 Community of the Year. Cross Creek is a beautiful place to live and has many excellent homes to pick.Homes are priced from $220,000 to over $700,000.

Many folks who I personally took out to Cross Creek just three years ago said “Cross Creek is too far away from everything”. I always said and felt this comment is totally incorrect. The movement of folks is west and this is one of the premier communities on the far west side of Houston. Downtown is only 32 miles away and the Galleria is 26 miles away and Conoco is only 21 milers. Main roads to be used by residents include FM 1093, FM 1463, West park Tollway and Interstate I-10.
