Tammy, its always fun to try a new decadent recipe. This looks lovely and yummy.
Tammy- if you like Alton Brown, try his French Toast recipe. It is so-o-o-o good. We tried the Barefoot Contessa's coq au vin tonight.
Mona- I think so too. Donald gets to try lots of dishes because I'm a food network junkie
Kathy- I'll have to check ou the french toast. We have that for dinner every once in a while.
Teach me? YUM! :)
Love and light,
Laura
If it tasted as good as it looks you have a winner, Tammy.
Laura- the link not only has the recipe, but a video. I took my lap top into my kitchen and it was fabulous.
Teral- Can't make it often... it's TOO good.
Tammy, I loveed you post, yes Alton Brown does good recipe's. When I make French Onion Soup it is a six to eight hour project:) I know what you went thru but the result is well worth it:)))
I love good french onion soup too Endre. Gonna have to email you to get a link.
Ooooo does that look yummy, Tammy. I can almost taste it. But you better not make too many of those between now and 13 months to your reunion. Just sayin . . .
You are so right about that. But in all honesty sweets are not my problem. I'm a bread girl. LOVE my bread. Haven't had any in days, but LOVE my bread.
Tammy~ How long did it take to make? I don't have a lot of patience for cooking. Rich does most of the cooking in our house.
Donna- prep time was about 20 minutes, cook time about 40 minutes, cooling time about 3 hours, then another 3 minutes browing the sugar on top.
Tammy~ Maybe in the winter months, when I stand being in the kitchen a little longer. I'll bookmark this post so I have the recipe.
