Geta is the new word of the day.

This word is Japanese in origin and we call this another name in the good ole U.S.  get your thinking caps on and I’ll give you a hint you use it on your body but that is the only hint you’ll get from me before you get the meaning.  So if you don’t know it you won’t figure it out so the meaning of (get’a) is a high wooden clog fastened to the foot by a thong between the first and second toes.  While ours is not wooden we can them flip flops among other things.  Life is good enjoy the day

Hi James.  Geta doesn't sound Japanese.  Interesting.

I was thinking getta move on. And hey, I was half right. In fact, I used to own a pair of wooden thongs that I bought at Hawaiian Village many moons ago. Let me tell you this, they aren't very comfortable to wear.

The definition does sound like a flip flop!  Interesting that the word flip flop has other meanings in our society, but I bet geta does not!

James.... I don't think my tender feet could stand to be in a pair of geta's. Also, I can't stand to have anything between my toes!
