Phoenix Field and Phoenix Park - a great neighborhood in Fair Oaks CA!

Many current visitors and residents in Fair Oaks CA are unaware that there used to be a pioneering small airport right here.  It was very popular before larger airports were built, but eventually it was turned into Phoenix Field residential development and Phoenix Park.

The neighborhood that occupies the old airport is full of street names like Kitty Hawk, Runway, Propeller, and other aviation-sounding names.

Phoenix Park is a great family park in Fair Oaks CA, with a wildlife preserve, sports courts, walking trails, picnic areas, playground equipment, vernal pools, and room for many great activities for all ages.  There is even an area designated as a dog park - one of the best around for your pooch.

This video was taken driving through the neighborhood around Phoenix Park, primarily through the Phoenix Field community, just to give you an idea of what the neighborhood is like.  There are many lovely homes here, and the residents take great care of their properties.
