Home Stager with Staged to Sell
Well, I had a long, well though out and witty blog entry all set, but when I went to post it, it was erased.  Aaaagh!  Sometimes I just hate computers!  Basically what it said was that I'm having trouble with marketing myself and my business and I'm looking for advice from the Real Estate agents out their.  You are all so good at that portion of your job that I was hoping for some nuggets of knowledge that will help me get the word out about my Staging company, Staged to Sell.  Thanks!

Diana, I would gear your marketing toward Real Estate agents. Since I'm not a Stager, I need to associate with those professionals who provide that service and I can refer them to my clients. Just a thought to help kick start your business. Good luck!

Offer a discount to agent that will have a party for the brokers at the house so you can introduce yourself and your work. I did it before and it is a great way to expose your listing as well. Good luck!

Diana, Welcome to Active Rain.  Sorry you lost your post -- might want to write it in Word and then copy & paste it in AR.  That way if there's a hiccup, you'll still have it.

There are many Staging Groups here in Activre Rain.  I found a few by going to my friend, Jackie Peraza's profile to see which one's she belongs to.  This should give you a good start.  They can give you advice on how to start marketing yourself to Realtors, Home Builders  and the Public. 

Stage It Forward, Home Staging, Staging Secrets, Staging Crafts & Creatives, Real World Home Staging for Newbies, Vacant House Staging & New Homes, Home Staging Resource and Real Estate Staging Association.  There may be more Staging Groups but this should get you started.

Diana~ Hate when that happens...what I do now before I send it I copy it,just in case you loose it, and then just paste it on a new blog. BTW I started doing this after I lost like 3 great blogs, you know the kind that take a while to write. Good Luck!
