A Real Cleaning Challenge.

My clients are the best! This morning when speaking with one of my favorite sellers, she shared this quote " Cleaning with kids in the house is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos."

Anyone with children can appreciate these words. This home is sold and settled but each time we called for a showing appointment, there was never a hesitation. It seemed easy... just gave a time and a day and when we showed up... the house was always in show condition.

No big deal you might say.

However try this with 2 children, 2 cats and Mom and Dad both working.   I had to smile at this cute and oh so true saying.

Perfect description!  I still remember how hard it was when we had our previous house for sale and at the time my son was 10, we had 2 dogs and 2 cats and both of us adults working - STRESS city!

I once had a client with 4 kids and two dogs. Unfortunately their timing was bad for selling at the price they wanted and the house stayed on the market for over a year before they gave up. I can't imagine the stress that places on family life!  Your clients chose the right realtor and had a great attitude!

Reblogged in one second flat! My added two cents?.... Not only are oreos my favorite store bought Cookies, but I can really relate to this sentiment. It also can apply to a household with long haired pets during shedding season. I vacuum just about every day and hardly keep up. But it is worth it for my boy!

What is my excuse.. no kids :)

I hope everyone at AR gets a chance to be part of SOCIAL MEDIA HISTORY this Saturday at the Google Plus One Year Anniversary Photo walk that is going to be held in over 200 cities around the World!  I did see one in Baltimore and have a connection to add the location if it has not been changed on the master link... Very Cute Quote, thank GOD my kids are grown and gone.  I love my oreos and a nice glass of cold milk.

so for those without kids, cleaning a house without kids is trying to decide when to clean or should you eat your oreos first.  :)
