This program will no doubt save many lives. I applaud Albuquerque, Bernalillo County and the Sate of New Mexico for this effort.
John I hope many heed the warning not to drink and drive. So many lives can be changed in a split second when someone drink and drive.
Great program, John for Albuqueque and area. It reminded me of days gone by when they would have them here locally. It's been a long time since I have seen one.
Thanks for sharing John, the 100 Days and Nights of Summer 2012 . With so many resources at our disposal, friends, (dedicated driver), car service, taxi, public transportation there is no excuse for driving while intoxicated.
John, Colorado does something similar every summer. Every community should have something like this as well as education about the cost to not only you and your family if you drink and drive but what it can do to innocent bystanders. Hope you are having a lovely evening! --Krystal
“ You drink, You drive, You lose.” and it's reverse, "Don't drink. Drive and everyone wins" Let's keep our roads safe after all our kids and grandchildren might be traveling on that road.
John... this is such a serious message and yet one that can not be ignored. The time to act responsibly is now. I'm proud your community has a program like this in place and they mean business too.

Awesome program!! Glad to see the implementation of the consequences of drinking and driving..you have choices..it's all up to you..there are alternatives!! You drink, You drive, You lose! It's quite simple!!
John, this is a great way to make drivers feel more safe on the roads...so needed everywhere and a wonderful program to put out there...have a great day & i hope you all get some rain!
Excellent John! You are right though it should be you drink, you drive, you lose 365 days of the year! We also have a no tolerance program here and we always say to our family & friends "watch out for the other guy". because we don't really know the condition their in unfortunately! With all the texting while driving, eating and calling. Maybe they need a program that says 'Just Drive'

Hi John if anyone drives while they were drinking deserves to be punished. Laws must be obeyed or it will just be the wild wild west!

Thank each of you for leaving your comments and input on the 100 Days and Nights of Summer Albuquerque NM 2012. Death or serious injury can not always be escaped or prevented but when it comes to drinking and driving there are no excuses.
I will admit back in my youth I would have a drink and drive but no more. On the rare occasion I do have a social adult beverage Debbie is the designated driver. No matter where or who you are if you drink, you drive you lose. Enjoy your 100 days and nights of summer in Albuquerque NM 2012 without incident my friends.
