One of the many Neighborhoods in Wilsonville is Rose Lane and Montgomery Way  located on the North side of the Willamette River, off of Wilsonville Road just 3 minutes from the center of town.  When you travel down Rose Lane you are headed straight south towards the Willamette river into an area that feels like you are miles away from town and any of the busy streets.  It is like another time altogether.  Fields on either side of Rose Lane with the community gardens on the West side, horses grazing, wild flowers growing and on the East side are open fields that host horses and other animals as well.


Montgomery Way just off of Rose Lane has wooded properties with beautifully cared for homes on acreage that stretches along both sides of the road.  Long and private driveways meandering towards the homes that are not always visible from the road.  Wildlife occasionally cross the road from property to property, birds are abundant, and it is quiet and peaceful.

This Neighborhood in Wilsonville known as Rose Lane and Montgomery Way has homes ranging the $200,000s reaching upwards of several million dollars. Homes do not go on the market often, one sold in 2010, two sold in 2011 and one  has sold in 2012.  It is one of the desired areas of Wilsonville, and worth taking a look at.

Mary, that video was beautifully done! The genteelness of it was just perfect. The music, and I loved the "Art in the Trees". I didn't realize how spectacular Wilsonville is--elegant, a word you used really fits.

Gayle this has been a fun series for me on the neighborhoods of Wilsonville.  My granddaughter Gabby took all of the photos for this post, she is good with the camera and they came out in a good way I thought.  Wilsonville is a beautiful town and is one of the Cities of Trees.
