McHenry County Real Estate is very active.  I have had the busiest May/June in many years.  It seems that everyone around here is looking for a great deal and, since the inventory is relatively plentiful . . . and growing, my buyers don't have to wait too long to find their next home.

 

On Monday I had the priviledge of welcoming some new neighbors to our area.  My elated clients (see picture below) relocated from Orlando to Huntley IL.  Except for missing the weather in Orlando they couldn't be happier with the great buy they secured on the purchase of their next home.

 

Today we closed on another of my clients homes in a lake community.  We had a great closing and enjoyed talking about the 'state of real estate' in the area with his attorney.  If anyone had told us a few years ago of the great buys we would experience in our area in 2012 we wouldn't never have believed it!

 

 

I have a few more listings to take and will be posting them here soon.  One is a well cared for but a little dated ranch home in another Lake Community in McHenry County.  This should sell in a range of $175,000 - $200,000.  The other is an original owner Bungalow home in Berwyn IL.  This home will need a complete rehab but should still sell just shy of $200,000 in this buyer's market.  If you have an interest in either of these homes before they hit the market just let me know.
