Hobby Realtors

Real Estate Agent with Frank Rubi Real Estate

Just to add on to what my broker Frank Rubi ranted about in his blog today.  I just wonder how many out there are doing this for something to do.  Occasionally you will make some spending money I guess.

http://activerain.com/blogsview/335445/Are-you-a-Pretender  I think a lot of so-called Realtors need to read his post.  Remember someone else is depending on you to sell his or hers property.

IMO, this is NOT a business to work as a hobby.  There's too much at stake for our clients to not give them our full attention and take it VERY seriously.  If you want a hobby profession, go sell cars, or greet people at Wal-Mart.

John, thanks for the mention. Being part-time is not bad. It is all in how you handle it. Like I tell my children if your going to do something do right and to the best of your ability.

John...  I read Frank's post and he is right.  I want to work with someone who is a CAREER REALTOR.  I have no time for pretenders.  GREAT POSTS.

John, it's all about effort and what you get done in your time. I can work from home and get done in 3 hours what many people cannot in a full 8 at the office.... There's plenty of good full-timer, career, agents who are never anywhere to be found too....
