I have learned some amazing free things to do to help my website plus fun gadgets to help.  no money

  • check out http://www.flyinside.com/  (virtual tour website) FREE
  • you can advertise your properties for free on http://www.zillow.com/
  • you can use http://www.feedburner.com/ for free to have the ability for people to suscribe by email to your blog.
  • try out http://www.mybloglog.com/ , a lot of AR people use it & it shows everyone who has been reading your website.  You can sign up for a cool widget to put on your home page on the side.
  • check out this one http://www.free-website-polls.com/ , it gives you just that.  I haven't quite figured out how to make it work yet.
  • check out http://www.yugma.com/ by the end of this month.  They are giving away free online meetings for a year to bloggers only.  All you have to do is ask.
  • http://www.meebo.com/ is pretty awesome too.  It will give you a widget that you put on your AR home page that if you are online, people can instant message you.  I used it this morning for the first time.  it was way too convenient.
  • Also try http://www.slide.com/ for a FREE interesting virtual tour link

I am always happy to share the information I have learned.  I think the biggest thing for me is that I am not afraid to click & learn.  What is the worst that can happen?  not sure...

CHALLENGE:  What can you share that would help others with their AR Blogs & Websites?

I really like flyinside.com.  It is free, but for $25 you can add your virtual tour to R.com and get the red spinny house!  Some homes are worth having a professional tour done, others are worth the extra $25 from flyinside.

I am somewhere in the middle - not "high" tech, but far more than a beginner.  I really appreciate this information!  I have learned more on Active Rain from people like you than I ever could have imagined!  Thanks for the great post!

Sherry - i have tried flyinside only once.  The one thing I am curious about is "do you still have to pay the $25 to add virtual tour to realtor.com if you are a realtor.com member?"

Barb - well said, i am probably middel fo the road too (techie wise).  It always feels good to share.  Take care.
