Regulate, Mandate, PotAto, Potato... let's call the whole thing off!

You say tomAto, and I say tomahto. You say PotAto and I say potahto... ah you get my drift. I read where a quote from the White House said:

The White House said Tuesday that the Supreme Court would be overturning "decades of precedent" if it finds Obamacare unconstitutional in a much-anticipated ruling expected later this week.

"We are, as I've said in the past, confident that the Affordable Care Act is constitutional, in keeping with decades of precedent under the Commerce Clause," spokesman Jay Carney told reporters aboard Air Force One. (He was referring to Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, which states that Congress shall have the power "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribe.")

So I looked up regulate in the dictionary and I can't find anywhere that it equates to the word mandate. Either, Eyether, Mandate, Regulate, let's call the whole thing off. If the Gershwins were alive today they'd be rolling in their graves.

Hey Bob,

There are so many issues with the Healthcare Reform i.e. Obamacare, but you bring out an important point where our freedom is seriously challenged if Americans are made to have healthcare insurance.  I continue to pray for our leadership and expect Father God to hold the hearts of the leaders in His Hand.

Best of success to you this year!

Bob, they upheld the health care law and I find it very hard to believe.

I really can't believe that they held that fiasco of a law up. Mandate that I participate in commerce? Really?

Jordon, Mike and Than: It's a tax not a mandate. Isn't that just what those who passed it said it wasn't? I don't believe that it's over yet. And if it is... come visit me in jail please? I can't imagine finding that money in my budget anywhere.
