You know...muffled, loud "BLAH BLAH BLAH". But if instead of trying to sort the large field out to find one you can support and vote for...try this quiz from the Washington Post. YOU answer the questions on the topics most Americans care about for issues ahead of this country. Then based on YOUR answers and position on the hot topics, this quiz will show you which candidate your views are most like. You can pick the position on the questions and be surprised or not surprised by the results. My son took the quiz in government class today and sat me down to take a spin at it. With over a dozen candidates in the field, this quiz will help you find the one you are most like in views and get rid of the loud blaring of talking heads in your head. This year's election coverage is so focused on style and delivery that I feel like the commentators go on and on about the presentation without really simply stating the substance of the candidates ahead of this country. The clever sound bites, the 100 watt smiles turned on when the cable news lights and cameras suddenly come on in the campaign headquarters during primary state by state coverage. The news has become a spin critic giving gold stars to the candidates that are the slickest, most fence strattling. The average citizen is not as concerned about the color of the tie and the vibes it sends, or the clever spin or way candidates can avoid controversy but at the same time weave in a position on something unrelated but making it seem related to get credit for mentiong the right buzz words thru out each debate. They all promise change..which makes you wonder how much change a president can have once the balloons, hand shaking and inauguration is over with Congress wrestling back and forth across the aisles with each other AND the president regardless of who is in the oval office and using Air Force One!
