Carla, great blog. I haven't done any PPC stuff. Let me know how it works. I use HostGator, and they did a Black Friday or Cyber Saturday/Monday (whatever) thing where it was $1.99/month. I bought 3 years and upgraded to the unlimited thing for very little more.
Carla I too like the DS tool. Simple and easy to use. Good luck on the expansion!
PPC ads anywhere is a whirling toilet like vortex on your wallet! Beware & set a limit & be sure that you get results. I didn't & quit. I think you would be better setting up some niche market sites to attract more buyer leads for your new associates. Wishing you the best with your expansion ideas - think big!
Top agents spend money on print and broadcast advertising as a means of keeping their name in front of the public. It's all part of their image.

Five hundred can buy a lot more when you do your homework, and it looks like you've been doing yours, Carla. Good luck!
Carla, I haven't done PPC before. Keep us posted an let us know if that is truly beneficial.
Your numbers add up to $599 right now. Which of these areas would you cut back first?
Hi Tammy . . . we'll see and thanks for the comments.
Hey Eric -- I heard Hostgator was good and what a SWEET deal you snagged!
Hi Anna B -- it's a year, or so, off . . .
Hey Lyn . . . thanks for your thoughts
Hi Sharon -- yes, they sure do, don't they
Hey Mike . . . it's not a bad budget to play around with and all things are relative ;-)
Hi Joan -- weren't you an EBA at one point? If so, then yeah, I can see why you'd think they were "endangered"
Hey Melissa . . . yes, this is ActiveRain's info-graphic. They mention the car, but the challenge may/may not include that, I guess. Here's the notice at the end of the post in case you want to read al about it: “This post is an entry for the $500 Real Estate Marketing and Tech Challenge. Learn more about this ActiveRain contest at www.activerain.com/marketing-challenge.”
Hi Cheryl -- I've been reading some of the other entires, and yes, you're right ... very interesting!
Carla, Thank you for sharing these tips. I have not tried hit router.
Carla . . . .I have some suggestions for you that may increase and stretch your marketing dollar. . can we talk sometime next week?
Carla, I love reading these posts written by members who are already successful in their business. Reading where they would spend additional dollars is almost as good as reading the original survey done by AR. Good luck in the contest.
Carla..if we get to vote for the winner...all I can say is have fun with the first prize
Carla, awesome job as always on this post!!! I always look forward to reading posts you write. I learn something ever time. Here's wishing that your investment will pay off!!!
That's some focused thinking and some really inexpensive, yet effective marketing.
I have just started playing with facebook ads. Lots of views, not many hits yet.
Carla:
Thank you for telling me about Diverse Solutions IDX. My current IDX is not good, but I don't want to spend too much money on it. $99/mo seems reasonable.
