Google Helped Make the Decision to List
I love Google, for a host of reasons.
Perhaps I should say I love getting noticed on Google. It’s an ego thing, on one level.
And, more importantly, a business thing on another.
Writing posts that get found by buyers and sellers who are doing targeted searches is a key reason many of us are here.
ActiveRain gets a ton of traffic and writing targeted articles that show up in buyer and seller searches brings us to their door.
Literally.
With that in mind, if you aren’t taking part in Bob Stewart’s localism challenge (lots of points await, plus good learning along the way), time is running out – Posts must be completed by July 2 – here’s the challenge.
And here is the SEO RainCamp video to help you with your writing for this challenge (it’s a winner!).
A seller in a nearby gated Oceanside community recently did a search on that community “to see who is selling there” as he put it to me. My multiple posts came up (several listings, a video, photos, a community article). He called, we met a few days ago while he is making the home “show ready,” and the contract is getting signed as I write. He didn’t call anyone else in, and our discussion was primarily around process and marketing. Slam dunk. Thanks AR!
And Google.
Is it always that simple? Heck no. But there are plenty of success stories of buyers and sellers hooking up with great Localism post writers, and following Bob’s recommendations will get you noticed, and keep you getting noticed for a long time to come. The buyers and sellers will follow.
