10 Comments on Supreme Court ObamaTAX Decision Dooms Obama Presidency & Democrats
Here Here and the roller coaster ride begins
Charles K said this last night and Geraldo said it again this AM.....this is a POISON PILL for Obama - it is a TAX and the only thing that saved it is that it is a TAX.....HELLO! letting Bush Tax Cuts expire and Obamacare additional taxes are going to be horrendous on our economy!
Why does the court and Congress feel the need to "temper" their rulings, comments, statemsnts and programs when's about Obama.
Why not simply tell the American public the truth???
John,
This will keep it exciting. It definately is a tax. Sorry to see it still in place, but I do like actually calling it what it really is.
We need to find good solutions for our country, not sure what they are, but less complicated and less than 2400 pages bills would be ideal.
All the best, Michelle
Im fired up about this development. The Supreme Court has just set the record straignt. Even though the Democrats and proponents of Obamacare said the mandate was not a TAX, the Supreme Court is insisting that it is. Many of us thought it to be a TAX and a LIE not to call it that and now the Supreme Court has validated that in a big way.
John -- the article you cited is very positive, and we need more of those in these turbulant times. Thanks for getting this out.
This may well be the death knell for Obama (dear God we pray) and I am trying to view this as a positive. And I agree that it will kick conservatives off the couch, and make us ralley to support Romney sooner rather than later. And hopefully it will mean a take-over of the Senate, too.
It's just a shame that we have to fight this battle at all - it could have been ended, over and done with. Roberts is a schmuck.
Virginia --
So Congress has a massive new mess awaiting it, all as voters prepare to vote for a new Congress and for 33 United States Senate seats, 23 now held by Democrats and their two "independent" allies. House Republicans solidly will vote symbolically to overturn the legislative monstrosity, and they will find endangered House Democrats breaking ranks with their leadership to vote with them. Senate Democrats facing reelection will be caught in a vise. Harry Reid will be trying desperately to prevent a vote on ObamaCare repeal from reaching the Senate floor, even as national news coverage focuses on the two national parties' conventions. Obama's staff may be renting Greek or Roman columns, but the Republicans will be toppling the pillars of the failed Obama Presidency
This is going to be OK, even fun. Just wait and see. The Chief Justice done us good.

I think I just smiled for the first time in days, John. Your analysis is SPOT ON. It IS going to be fun. And you all have a front-row seat here in the nation's capital when the tea party rallies for its next big March on Washington.
Virginia -- We have to work on getting CONSERVATIVES elected across the board. Much of the present problem is that the establishment Republicans CAVE to the Democrats. The establishment in both parties must be taken out.
