Success in the rain! My SECOND AR check for 2012!

There are two things I really LOVE.  Helping first time homebuyers AND cashing AR checks. 

I got to do both of them this week.  HOW FUN!

These first time homebuyers were unlike any other.  When I got the call and chatted with Mr. First time homebuyer my mouth was practically on the floor.  He basically told me everything a realtor want's to hear:

 

  • We have our 20% saved up for our down payment.
  • We have a credit score of 720
  • We need to be in a home within 30 days
  • We have narrowed down our search to 2 properties.

Ok, just kidding on the last bullet. They had actually narrowed their search down to TWO areas of San Antonio. 

So, you know what happens next, right? They come down to San Antonio, we look at 10 homes & they pick their favorite!

Everything else was like a dream.  The inspection went well, the appraisal went well & the closing came ON TIME! I can't make this stuff up ya'll.  It was amazing!

Congrats. As a lender i used to work with 1st time buyers and i loved them. They were not concerned about rates. They just want to buy thier 1st home. I used to work with a lot of non profit agencies and used to get constant leads.

Now i serve a different kind of clients, but i miss my 1st time home buyers

Kristin-It is nice when the client has a plan. The decision cycle for some is longer than 30-days, but the short cycle deals with committed buyers is great.
