We have so many things going on in Treasure Island that some things just get lost and you learn about it when it is too late. Well check out the events below, they are awesome and you will enjoy them.
The City of Treasure Island will present its Friday Flicks in the Park on the 2nd & 4th Friday in June and July in the Treasure Island Community Center Park located at 106th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. The event begins at 7:00pm with food vendors and activities for the children, with the movies beginning at 9:00pm.
Friday, July 13th Big Miracle
Friday, July 27th Sherlock Holmes, A Game of Shadows
The movie will be shown under the stars on a giant outdoor screen. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the show. Snack vendors and children’s activities will be available for before and during the movie.
The event is FREE to the public.
Another thing to do in Treasure Island are the sunset celebrations
The City of Treasure Island’s Saturday Sunsets is a sunset celebration that takes place along Treasure Island’s beach on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays in June and July behind the Bilmar Beach Resort located at 10650 Gulf Boulevard.
This free family event features artisans, food vendors, crafters, and live musical entertainment, weather permitting, from 1:00pm to 9:00pm.
Saturday, July 7th – 1pm to 4pm Calamity Jane and 5pm to 8:30pm Paul Anthony
Saturday, July 21st – 1pm to 4pm De Lie’ed Parrots and 5pm to 8:30pm Michael Nichols
Parking is available on the beach for a fee of $5.00 per vehicle. Entrance to the beach parking is located at the St. Petersburg Municipal Beach parking lot located at 112th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard.
The event is FREE to the public.
