My husband and I had the pleasure of attending a Thursday night wedding at the beautiful Diamond Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth Texas.
You know you're getting used to the Texas summer when it's 98 in the shade and you think it's not too bad! The setting at Diamond Oaks Country Club is gorgeous. Majestic oaks, lush greens and fairways and a beautiful bride to set the tone. And the tone of the wedding was vintage Southern charm meets church worship service. It was so simple but so detail-specific. The bride even had satin buttons from her mother and grandmother's dress sewn into the dress she designed.
My wedding 10 years ago was also held at a country club and I was pleasantly reminded of my own special day. Although, fortunately for the bride and groom, a drunk driver didn't hit a power poll and cause the electricity to go out! Everything was flawless from the ceremony to the grounds to the kid's chicken tenders and garlic chicken.
