Cindy, yesterday was a hot one here too in Northern Virginia. We're looking at another hot one today. We're staying indoors today.
Wow - I'd do my walking around a mall or museum instead of the track!
I know what you mean...heat indexes reaches 105, felt like 110 a day or so ago and it is still hot and humid....now I want a margarita! Headed down to summerfest today too!
Sounds like you blew '100 degrees in the shade' out of the water! Glad you were able to keep cool!
I have heard these temperatures have hit all over the nation. We've had 2 in a row now and looking at #3 today. We usually go to an outdoor lake venue on Saturday nights and enjoy friends and such. Last night, we stayed for an hour and had to leave due to the heat. Just too much!!
You could leave a couple of eggs in a glass of water out on the porch at 11:30am and have hardboiled eggs for lunch by noontime here in Memphis, Cindy.
