News from Eurozone Sends Stocks Soaring

Stock futures pointed upward yesterday as good news from European markets turned out to be a catalyst for an impressive run up in domestic stocks.  The summit of the European Union members churned out positive news on progress to control future sovereign debt issues.  At the same time there were a lot of economic reports released here.  Some were neutral and others were positive but the mood on Wall Street was euphoric.  The Dow wound up a whopping 277 points while other domestic exchanges had equally impressive advances.
