Carolyn Smith, Realtor – Things to Do in Brevard County, FL: Get Ready for Fourth of July Fireworks in the Melbourne, FL Area
Wondering where you can catch a great display of fireworks in the Melbourne, FL area this year? All the information you need is right here! Starting with fireworks over the ocean in Cocoa Beach on Monday night (check out my earlier post about this event here), I will list all the fireworks displays in South Brevard County that you might want to check out!
Monday, July 2-
- Cocoa Beach: “Fireworks Over the Ocean” at 9 pm. The fireworks will be launched from an off-shore barge, so bring your beach chair or blanket to Alan Shepard Park and get ready for a spectacular show of fireworks over the ocean!
Tuesday, July 3-
- Port Canaveral: “Fireworks Over the Harbor”, along Glen Creek Drive in Port Canaveral. This event will begin at 4 pm with bounce houses for the children, live music and performances, various vendors, and food and drinks available for purchase. The night will conclude with a breathtaking display of fireworks over the harbor.
Wednesday, July 4-
- Cocoa Village: “Fireworks Over the Indian River”, at Riverfront Park in Historic Cocoa Village. Check out my earlier post about this event here. In a nutshell, Cocoa Village will be celebrating the Fourth of July with family friendly activities along with a free concert by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestra will continue their concert into the night to accompany the dazzling fireworks display, which will take place at 9:15 pm over the Indian River.
- Melbourne: Melbourne’s fireworks display is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, over the waters of the Indian River Lagoon just south of the Melbourne Causeway. Front Street Park provides the primary viewing area for the Melbourne fireworks display. To relieve traffic congestion, free bus transportation will be provided between Front Street Park and the Melbourne Auditorium, which is located at 625 Hibiscus Boulevard. Buses are to depart for the park at 7:10 p.m., 7:50 p.m., and 8:10 p.m. Buses are to return to the auditorium at 7:30 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 10:10 p.m.
- Palm Bay: Fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm, at the BCC Palm Bay Campus, located at 250 Community College Parkway, Palm Bay. The family-friendly Fourth of July celebration will start at 5 pm with bounce houses and waters slides for the kids, a children’s Patriotic Bike Parade, face painting, games, and more!
- Sebastian: Fireworks are scheduled for sunset at Riverview Park. There will also be a Fourth of July parade starting at 8:30 am at the Sebastian Community Center and the Sebastian Masonic Lodge proceeding East on Davis Street and South on Indian River Drive to Riverview Park. There will be crafters, food, and live entertainment in the park all day long, concluding with the fireworks display at sunset.
- Titusville: Fireworks will start at 9:15 pm, at Sand Point Park, located at 10 East Max Brewer Causeway, Titusville. The Fourth of July celebration kicks off at 7 pm with live entertainment, food, and games for all; it will be a great family event!
- Viera: Fireworks are scheduled at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, at the conclusion of the Brevard Manatees vs. Tampa Yankees game. The game starts at 6:35 pm; ticket information can be found here: Brevard Manatees Ticket Info
