Searcy Ar golf greens

This is a green at the Searcy AR Country Club golf course.  But you say it is not green?? You are right.  It is brown....dead and about to be buried.  I couldn't resist taking this picture because it reminded me so much of the blog I did on sand greens that were used on golf courses years ago.

So what's wrong with the Searcy greens?  They are killing one kind of grass to replace it with Bermuda....so says Hubby the golfer.
