Big Fish Grill was one of the first new restaurants we tried when we moved to the Bowie area in 2008. It quickly became my family’s favorite local restaurant.
The restaurant offers a varied menu of typical seafood options, sushi, and even pizzas.
We tend to visit during the day on Saturday when the restaurant has happy hour. This means that all appetizers are 1/2 price. My family likes this because we can sample several different appetizers as our meal. My favorite is the Bangkok Shrimp which is sweet and spicy. Happy Hour runs from 3-7pm weekdays (8pm on Friday) and weekends from 11am-7pm.
On the regular menu we all have distinct favorites! My son & dad loves the crab cakes, my daughter and I love the pasta, I love the cream of crab soup, and my husband loves the sushi and the fried oysters.
As soon as my dad knows that he is coming to the area to visit (from Jamaica) he mentions that he wants to take a trip to Big Fish Grill.
We have never been disappointed with a meal here.
