Today is an opportunity for the residents of Red Hook to visit the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome for free, and others will get a discount. This was one of the events the Red Hook Bicentennial Committee selected for the Bicentennial celebration.
Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is actually located in Red Hook and attracts visitors from all over the world. You can take a ride in a historic bi-plane on Saturdays and Sunday until October; and there is also a museum you can tour.

RED HOOK BICENTENNIAL AERODROME OPEN HOUSE
TODAY - July 1st
10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
9 Norton Road, Red Hook
1:45 p.m. – Bicentennial “Welcome!”
2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – World War I Air Show
Free admission to Red Hook residents; Reduced admission for all others
Don’t miss the thrilling aerial shows – especially the Red Baron (boo!!!) combating Sir Percy Goodfellow (hurray!!!) for the affections of Trudy Truelove.
