Referrals From Blogging Are Great!
If you are still undecided if blogging actually works, I can honestly tell you that my blogging has lead to some nice referrals, and I have recently closed three transactions, which were all referrals from other Active Rain members. Two of them were listing referrals, and they were estate sales, and great handyman specials, which investors immediately made cash offers on both of them. We all love those cash offers, since they generally lead to those quick closings. Although, they were small deals, I know my sellers were very satisfied with the whole process from contract to closings, since they expressed their appreciation for services and efforts of everyone involved.  

Blogging for ReferralsThe other referral was a buyer lead, who purchased a lovely home in one of San Antonio’s historical districts, Monticello Park, which I termed the “Gucci District”. Yes, San Antonio, like other cities does have these nice historical areas like King William, Olmos Park, Monte Vista, and Monticello Park, just to name a few. This closed transaction lead to another happy home buyer, who recently relocated to Texas, due to a job transfer.

I am presently working with another buyer, who found me through my blogging efforts too. Plus, I have another listing still on the market, which was also picked up by my online presence from blogging. Therefore, to all those doubters about blogging, think again, since blogging does work, and the rewards will be worth your efforts. Keep in mind that, “If you Built it, They will Come”. Blogging will get you referrals, and leads to increase your business. Try it, you will be glad you did. Remember, you can literally reach thousands when you build your online marketing, and start to rank on the top pages in Google.You can do it!

Hi Jon, Your are so right about blogging and writing good content. Just within the last two days buyers have called on a post that I did in a neighborhood featuring one of my listings. When I asked how they found me, they replied, "We saw online from one of your articles". Just goes to prove that blogging does work.

Yes, Andrea. Awhile back I was sending out many referrals, and recommending many of my AR friends, and then, all of a sudden, I started to get those phone calls referring me buyers and sellers. It pays to be consistent with your blogging, It may have taken me longer than others, but the rewards were worth the effort.
