Here is my Academy Award Acceptance Speech for My Day One Entry Level iMovie Blooper & Blunders Project. Since I am self appointed as the nominating and voting committee, I have written my Acceptance Speech Script already. Here you go!
Thanks to Ross Hair for sponsoring the recent Webinar on Video Marketing for Realtors. My best take away was that this Southern Maryland Realtor iPad Gal was going to tackle the Community Videos and Localism Video Posts via the NEW iPad with iMovie and the just released HDHat super wide angle lens offered by Mark Passerby.
Thanks also to Debb James. When I called her last week and posed this request...How can you jump start me in one month or less doing videos on the iPad for localism blog posts? Her response was to watch the Brennan Sparks YouTube iMovie interface video clip which I inhaled a good dozen times. Then tip two was to download the Tutor for iMovie app on my iPad. I did that and inhaled it over and over this past week. She also said to follow her YouTube Thursdays group for stellar examples of Video Editing that she has carefully selected each week for our viewing pleasure. Note to self. Ask her to post my award winning Bloopers and Blunders first iPad iMovie edit project. Maybe I will send a photo to her of my Oscar Statue in waiting.
Thanks next to Jan and Steve Bachman. They took a day off Friday to visit Southern Maryland and show me filming techniques. I borrowed their tripod...note how close that sounds to iPad...and they video coached me thru the day. You can hear them guiding me in the background. They took on the most difficult of difficult assignments which was take me from zero to operational.
Thanks next to the Builder who cleaned the house, spread mulch, planted flowers and overall got my NEW Listing on Flora off Cassell Blvd in Prince Frederick MD ready for the Video Debut. This 3BR 2 BA Rambler for $260,000 ( with 10K Closing Help) is steps to the Beach but Shopping, Schools, and D.C. are within easy reach!
Oh, and I cannot thank my Angel enough. He has asked to remain nameless. But he has patiently taught and retaught and coached me through Wordpress and Diverse Solutions plus stressed the importance of daily community and local posts. He has even threatened to put all my iPads in the refrigerator if I do not behave...i.e. put my iPads down and start churning out Word Press then copy pasted AR Community Posts right away. We had no electric power around here lately so I was able to safely protect my iPads for this refrigerator PERIL, head out for a day of video shooting with the Bachmans and then come back ready to create the new iMovies on my iPad PLUS crank out seven Wordpress posts . Once created I will then copy them over to Active Rain afterwards for the 1000 points per post contest that runs thru July 6, 2012.
Last, thanks to my Mom and lifelong friend who joined us all afterwards for a Southern Maryland Seafood Feast filed with laughter and fun stories that made for the end of a perfect day. Oh, you can tell from the photos that we DID skidaddle back to film the Barns and Patuxent River at the Magic Hour as the sun was going down in Southern Maryland.
Gotta Run! The music is playing for me to STOP jabbering.
