The parade through town starts at 10 a.m. (be sure to get there early--trolly rides available from parking areas) and this year, as in past, the Door County Ice Cream Factory will be handing out ice cream samples until they run out (homemade ice cream beats the summer heat). After the parade, live music, great food, dozens of craft vendors, cool beverages, the Anclam Beach, the Marina and much more will keep the entire family entertained. There are great events for children throughout the day. In the evening, weather permitting, a fantastic fireworks display will be seen over the lake after dusk.
