Alright, I'm getting a complex. While on vacation I wrote a blog about a client who called and asked that I estimate a few electrical needs he has. He told me he found me online after finding me in the local paper. He said he didn't have much confidence in people in the papers because they're all idiots.
When he found me on the Internet, his opinion went up. His wife asked if he found anyone and he told her he did. He gave her the name of our company, to which she replied, "That's the idiot from the paper." OK, if that hadn't been enough I received another hit this week.
My wife was cleaning the bathroom the other day, and I could hear her fussing about something. She finally emerged and said, "Whoever thought that idea for that stupid ceiling was a good one is an idiot." I responded by saying, "Thank you. That idiot would be me." She thought it was the previous owner, but unfortunately for me, it wasn't. I had stippled the ceiling during a remodel years ago.
Should I start to worry? I'm beginning to see a trend here. It's even worse when it's someone who knows you. Happy Sunday!
