HOW TO WATCH THIS MOVIE

It is not a scientific or military mission to answer the meaning of life or origin. NO...A very rich and powerful man who has time, money, questionable health and desire wants to spend his money on getting an answer to a most profound question for his own reasons and not humanities sake. Now, watch the movie from his point of view.

ITS THE SUBJECT THAT DRIVES THE MOVIE

So, it you watch this movie seeing what a rich, spoiled, selfish and vain person can spend a trillion dollars on himself, you will not be disappointed as to why this or that happened and what was done about it. Keep in mind a military or scientific expedition would have done things way differently. This keeps you very engaged

THE PREMISE

Take one space ship, the thought of life elsewhere, the unknown, add lots of questions, mix with little tid bits of mystery and expectation and hold on because it does land the plane and it appears that no one was expecting to find the answers when they are presented. What they end up finding literally overwhelms you as it entertains

MOST ENJOYABLE MOVIE

Ignore any other negative comments found in regards to this movie. There are no negatives about it. It will take you to the edge of your seat and force you to ponder, ask questions and wish for a sequel. This adventure has to be explored some more...Highly recommended for Sci-fi lovers

It's on my list - and now with your suggestion I can have a better viewing experience.  It helps to enjoy sci-fi which I always have.  I hadn't read a sci-fi book in probably 25 years and just finished reading "TheSparrow" which was awesome.  With this genre, it's important to be able to suspend belief and just take it in.

Kathryn...You will not see this on Netflix anytime soon...consider sneaking away to theater to catch it on the big screen. Your are worth it so dont hesitage on this. Second option: The DVD and watching at home...Definitely a treat for the family. Popcorn, snacks, tasty drinks and more snacks plus discussion after wards highly recommended....thank you for sharing Kathryn and big best to my fellow sci-fi lovers
