Hike Through History

 

Jul. 7, 8am-10am

 

Discover the topography and natural history of the Jupiter National Landscape Conservation System historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120 acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.  The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum at 8:00am and takes approximately 2 hours to complete, tour is weather dependent. Admission is free but space is limited- RSVP required 561-747-8380 x101, program is open to adults and children -must be at least 5 years old to participate. All children between 5 and 13 must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. Hikers footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried. This program is a part of LENS Programs (Lighthouse Education & Natural Sciences.) Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum.
