living in  Reston years ago, we used to drive through Franklin Farm as it was being built, and say, "Wow...they're building ponds, leaving open space, putting in 2 pools and walking trails. Why doesn't everyone build like this? "

The single family and townhouse design and community layout in Franklin Farm is beautifully done...no question.

 

The neighborhood was built at a time when most builders were flattening everything and lining homes up like tin cans.

Well, 24+ years later, Franklin Farm is even prettier. Come visit.
