Garner’s July 3 Celebration featuring the NC Symphony

Tuesday, July 3

25th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Road)

This celebration is FREE to the public!

Annually, Garner and its neighbors come together to celebrate our nation’s independence on July 3rd at Lake Benson Park!  Gates open at 5:00 pm.  Enjoy music provided by DJ Flimsy followed by the North Carolina Symphony, which will play a rousing patriotic program. Children’s inflatable games are available from 5-8:30 pm. Local nonprofit groups will sell food and other refreshments. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks show following the North Carolina Symphony’s performance.

Shuttles are available from Bryan Farm (1832 New Bethel Church Road) beginning at 5 p.m. Handicap-accessible parking is located at Lake Benson Park.

The Works! July 4th on Fayetteville Street

Wednesday, July 4

Come on down to Fayetteville Street and enjoy fun July 4th activities including a stunt show, water games, ice cream eating contests, and a picnic on the street.  Also, the 82nd Airborne Division All American Freefall Team will be doing a parachute jump to Fayetteville Street near City Plaza at 7:45pm!

Joel Lane Museum House 22nd Annual Independence Day Celebration

Wednesday, July 4

The Joel Lane Museum House, “The Birthplace of Raleigh,” will sponsor its annual Independence Day Open House on Wednesday, July 4, 2011 from 11:00 am. to 4:00pm. Colonel Lane was a founding father of North Carolina’s capital city and an officer in the Wake County militia during the American Revolutionary War.

This FREE open house event is perfect for the whole family. Donations are requested.

FREE Concert starts at 7:30 pm

Join us for a good, old-fashioned salute to the red, white and blue. Hear patriotic favorites and high-spirited classics as we honor the USA on its birthday. Come early and grab the best view of one of the area’s biggest Fourth of July fireworks displays.

Town of Apex’s Olde Fashioned Fourth

FREE Games, Inflatables, Music, Parade & Much More

Kids of all ages come to historic downtown Apex for an Olde Fashion 4th of July Celebration! There will plenty of patriotic fun as we celebrate our nation’s birthday. Fun activities include inflatables, street performers, Karaoke, carnival games, climbing wall, cake walk, and much more. Follow that up with Uncle Sam’s Parade of Wheels at noon, then cool down, as the Apex Fire Department knows how to do best, at the Splash Down!

Town of Holly Springs Independence Day Celebration

Fireworks Show to begin at 9:15 p.m.

Join us the day after Independence Day for this traditional celebration of America's birthday. Admission is FREE. Festivities will include musical entertainment, food and inflatables for the kids in addition to the fireworks.
