Keep Your Camera Handy. You Wouldn't Want To Miss This One!!

And Lenn, those moments of nature with the family crossing are priceless. But you have the photo to jog the memory.

I've got and OLD point and shoot, but it still takes great pictures. I've wanted to get a DSLR camera, but the President of my company has one, and says, "borrow anytime you want" so I guess I'll keep the $500 in my pocket.

Blogging has made me take pictures of the most bizarre things.. I probably need to do a post just about bizarre pictures!

I saw three moms and baby deer crossing roads on my travels yesterday looking at trees down on my clients' homes.  They had BRIGHT white spots and were walking very slowly

Lenn -  it always seems that when I forget my camera - priceless scenes like yours arise.. Definitely keep my camera ready... and hopefully the battery is charged too.

I have to admit, I have never heard of a "land hurricane" before.  It was very interesting to stand on my deck, protected by a wall, and watch the trees in my back yard angle horizontal!

Lenn there are so many great photos just waiting to be taken out there.  I love the ducks crossing, and to catch the aftermath of destruction is lots of times amazing.

That first photo is so darn cute!  The second photo ... not so much.  I hope no one was seriously injured during the destructive storms!

I never have my camera when I see something like this, what a surprise

My daughter woke me up saying to go save the umbrella on the deck!  It had blown out of the holder and was blocking windows!  I went out there and thought I was going to be Mary Poppins and get picked up and floated over to a lake nearby!  It was very blowy!
