HERE COMES THE JUDGE...  I BE THE JUDGE!

Bob Timm National Marketing Realtors Minot ND 58703I was more then a bit surprised yesterday evening when I received a phone call from this "clown" asking me if I would like to be a judge. This guy on the phone must be dizzy.

 Fact is.. he was Dizzy, Dizzy the Clown!

The North Dakota State Fair is always held in Minot North Dakota (except last year when we were under 6' of water) and there are always more clowns around then usual. Of course these are REAL clowns, not the clowns that seem to dominate traffic with tricks like no blinker, cutting you off, etc. etc. but I digress.

The judging is actually a two day event. It co-insides with The North Dakota State Fair  and The North Dakota State Fair Parade.

On Friday the 20th I will be judging (actually I should clarify that I am one of the judges) the balloon tying contest. This is where the clowns show their skill of making balloon animals, hats, and so on with balloons.

This will also be interesting to me because the clowns will NOT be wearing their make-up. I have seen many of the clowns perform but I have no idea what they really look like.

The second part of the judging comes the following day and that should be a blast. I get to watch them perform skits and other clown acts. I just wish my kids could judge with me!

As bad as I would like to sell a million dollar house or two on that weekend I actually want to be "The Judge" worse so here is hoping that steady flock of million dollar buyers I have (in my dreams) can wait an extra day for my expert services on the weekend of the 20th.

Rick, Thanks! I did put it on Localism and certainly had fun writing it. Have a GREAT 4th and thanks again for the comment.

Bill, It will really be nice to take my mind off of a ton of pressure that I've been under. Now hopefully I won't have a heart attack laughing!
