Jan I don't know how I missed this yesterday but glad I saw it today.  Inspiration is one of the hardest things for me to find but I found a wonderful song called He Reigns by the Newsboys this week and have just been playing it and playing it.

We all get motivation and inspiration from a variety of sources.  Zig Ziglar is certainly one; Jesus is another; Paul has much to say; my pastor, Dr. Marvin H. Dennis is a dandy; and as much as I get way too familiar with him, my hubby's pretty inspiring at times!

Jan E:  I get my inspiration from you...  thanks for the inspirational post.  I would love to dance in the rain again.  That was so much fun as a kid.   I get an inspirational quote everyday from another site like Zig Ziglar, but I like their site also.

but if you do, I also want to say that I, too, have a 22 year old... a  daughter, and of my 3 children she is the one who always has the most difficult time.  I recall that my oldest daughter (now 25) struggled at the same age... finally got it together this past year.  So... there's hope for them, yet.  I will keep you and your son in my positive thoughts and prayers.  Keep believing in him and in all you've taught him in the way you've lived your life.  He will turn it around and surprise you one day!

I read your posts... just fyi ... the photos in your second post are not showing up on AR, so you might want to fix that post.

Even Zig Ziglar would tell you that he doesn't think he's in the same category with Jesus... he would tell you that Jesus is "the author and finisher of our faith" but we draw inspiration from other human believers.  I'm glad you have a hubby to do that for you ... not everyone has it so good.  Be blessed!

Elizabeth: Thanks! I hope you enjoy the Zig site... he gets his inspiration from God's Word as much as anywhere else! I've been thinking... that you need to compile your inspirational posts into a book, really. Yes, I think it is time for you to publish! By the way, I facilitated my first GriefShare (www.GriefShare.org) class at our church tonight. We had 12 people in the class... suggested class size is 3-12 people! Wow! It was so amazing... God is good! Keep this in your prayers, please! BTW... what happened to the rich text format for comments? I have no "tools" or buttons!!

Jan-This is such a beautiful post. Inspiration helps us to find so many beautiful things in life.  We just have to stop and listen to what is awaiting our venture and as you have shared,  "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
