Here is an important announcement concerning FLOOD INSURANCE FOR WATERFRONT HOMES IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND and nationwide.

Congress has finally reauthorized the National FLOOD INSURANCE Program (NFIP) for 5 years.  

Why is this important in Charles, Calvert and St Mary's Counties?  Because there are many WATERFRONT properties in these SOUTHERN MD counties.  In order to obtain a mortgage on these properties they must have FLOOD INSURANCE.  The reauthorization of the National FLOOD INSURANCE Program will enable Homeowner's to move forward confidently with the sale of their homes and Buyer's to purchase a WATERFRONT HOME with one less concern.
