Time: 9:20 pm on July 4th, display will be set off from six barges between 18th and 43rd Streets on the Hudson River.
Ignite the Night" is the theme of the 2012 fireworks spectacular. Accompaning songs include Ray Charles' "America the Beautiful," Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A.", Madonna's "Holiday," Whitney Houston's "One Moment in Time," and more.
Views From Manhattan's West Side- below 59th Streets and spots along the Jersey waterfront - arrive early to secure a good viewing spot. Bring chairs and lots of water. Large bags and containers will be subject to security checks.
West Side Highway and Surrounding Area - northbound lanes of the West Side Highway and 12th Avenue between 20th and 59th Streets. Access to the viewing area via : 24th, 26th through 30th, 34th, 40th through 44th, 47th through 52nd, 54th through 57th.
