4th OF JULY SAFETY TIPS
Tomorrow as we all gear up for the many activities of the 4th of July, it is always prudent to remember to be safe! With the 4th of July comes some dangers as well. Take heed and enjoy your Independence Day safely!

If fireworks are banned in your area, please do not use them. We have seen too many devastating fires wiping out entire communities.

Use plenty of sunscreen when in the sun for extended periods.

Drink plenty of water and watch the alcohol intake. The heat can dehydrate you quickly and alcohol consumption can exacerbate this.

When cooking out, use safety precautions using grills, lighter fluids, etc.

WATCH those children in and around the water.

If boating, do not drink and drive!

If driving, do not drink and drive!
- Picnics can become breeding grounds for bacteria if food is not kept chilled. Pay attention to the dressings, condiments, and meat.
- Keep a first aid kit with you in case someone needs it.
- Have a plan should the weather turn bad. There are still plenty of fun things to do inside.
