July 4th Fireworks in Central CT

There are a limited number of towns having holiday fireworks displays for the July 4th celebration.

In Middlebury, Lake Quassapaug Amusement Park will have their 3-D fireworks, weather permitting, on Thursday starting at 10:15 PM. Parking is $7 and 3-D glasses are $1 with proceeds being donated to Prevent Blindness.

Due the impending storms, Lake Compounce in Bristol CT has postponed its fireworks display to Friday, starting at 10.

The Naugatuck CT fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 PM at the Naugatuck High School on Rubber Ave. Gates open at 6, with music and entertainment for the kids.

Beacon Falls will have its annual Family Day Fireworks at the Pent Road Complex, with gates opening at 7 PM. Food and drinks will be sold before and during the event with entertainment leading up to the fireworks.

Ed, I saw on the news tonight that so many areas have cancelled the fireworks in your area of the country.  Here's hoping for great weather and that everyone's safe.
